Biodynamics of Osteopathy Phase I-III Review, Intro to Phase IV
Will review the perceptual transitions between 1st, 2nd and 3rd level stillness and the landscapes in between including the breathing of Primary Respiration at 2-3 cycles per minute and the Long Tide. Core topics to include Motion Present, Neutral, Fluid Body diagnostics, Automatic Shifting, Central Stillness, Dual Sacs, The Bird and Dynamic Stillness with introduction to working with midline dynamics. Specific course content will questions and areas of interest of the group.
Biodynamics of Osteopathy Phase IV
Biodynamic approach to the Respiratory System and Breath
Through lecture discussions, meditations and practical sessions we will explore our osteopathic approach to the respiratory system including embryology and anatomy review to help deepen the precision of our perceptual relationship with these functions. Treatment of the lungs, pleura, diaphragm, sinuses as well as the relationship between thoracic and primary respiration will be covered. A minimum of Phase I-III or Pediatrics I is recommended.
